Meet Donzella Hendrix
Donzella Hendrix is the creator and voice of Voices Unheard. Through storytelling and reflection, she invites listeners to recognize the humanity of people experiencing homelessness—their relationships, gifts, struggles, and hopes.
In collaboration with St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, Donzella is developing this ministry to deepen understanding, challenge assumptions, and encourage compassionate responses to our neighbors.
From Listening to Response
Listening can change how we see our neighbors—and how we respond.
After each episode, take a moment to ask: What stayed with me? What assumptions might I need to reconsider? What could compassion look like in practice?
Share an episode with a friend and invite a conversation. Pray for people experiencing homelessness and those working alongside them. If you would like to explore ways to participate in this ministry or connect it with work already happening in our community, contact Donzella.
You do not need to belong to St. Bart’s to join the conversation. All have a place here - no exceptions.
