Local Outreach

To live our mission of “reaching out to make a meaningful difference in our world,” Saint Bartholomew’s focuses its collective outreach in several directions; always seeking to serve the community around us. To ensure we make a difference, we need the help of all parishioners.

Pumpkin Patch

Saint Bartholomew’s has always been known as the “Pumpkin Church.” Our grounds are covered in orange every October as we sell pumpkins to raise funds for missions. We also offer a story time to our local pre-school children.

CMONA

CMONA, or Community Ministries of North Augusta, helps families in need by providing in-take assistance, utility assistance, life-skills training, and eviction assistance, just to name a few. Saint Bartholomew’s is proud to be one of the founding members.

Holiday Bazaar

Our Bazaar Guild creates crafts throughout the year to sell in the fall. In addition to handmade crafts, breakfast is sold, and there is a silent auction. Local vendors are also encouraged to participate. Proceeds help local missions.

Christmas Cheer

Each year we work with a local organization to provide Christmas presents to families in need. We also take to the streets to go caroling to our neighbors around our church.

Hope 4 Our School

Our church has teamed up with LBC Middle School to provide personal hygiene products to those in need. For more information contact Julie Bush at alsojules@yahoo.com.

Walking Tall Ministries

We support Walking Tall Ministries which was started by a beautician to help the homeless. Saint Bart’s provides casseroles to help this ministry feed those in need.
