Local Missions

Angel Tree: Each year during Advent in the church. Families from our congregation adopt an angel from the tree and fill Christmas wishes for approximately 50 children and adults.

Brown Bag: This mission outreach helps to feed over 41 people a month. Food is collected from the members, bagged and delivered to the Ledges in North Augusta, SC.

Center for Care and Counseling: This ministry is a source of Christian based counseling for the Central Savannah River Area citizens of all ages who seek assistance in dealing with life situations. Volunteers can serve inside the institution by presenting topics, leading discussions, leading singing and sharing God's love with participants. They can serve in support roles outside the facility by preparing meals and providing logistical support.

Community Ministry of North Augusta (CMONA)- This ministry is a local private charitable organization sponsored by 18 local churches. Members donate their time and energy at the Ministry Thrift Store located on East Buena Vista Avenue in North Augusta.

Master's Table (Soup Kitchen): Monthly, a group of volunteers from St. Bartholomew's meets at the soup kitchen on Fenwick Street in Augusta, GA and provides staff support in the meal preparation and serving.

State Missions

Kairos Prison Ministry: Teams of volunteers minister to the residents (inmates) in prisons of South Carolina, bringing messages of hope, redemption and salvation through weekend programs of living the Christian life. Volunteers may also serve as outside support by sending cookies and signing to support the team in prayer.

World Missions

African Art: Handmade African art can be purchased through this ministry which profits the African team ministries. The monies aid in the care and education of African orphans in eight Anglican Dioceses.

South American Missionary Society of the Episcopal Church: St. Bartholomew's participates in supporting, through prayer and finances, a missionary who lives and works in Quito, Ecuador.
