Sunday Offerings for Adults

Java for the Soul: This class is taught using curriculum that bases its lessons on the readings from Sunday services. Each lesson has Scripture readings, insightful commentary, and lively discussions. Participants will get a deeper thinking about Christian beliefs and daily life. Each week participants enjoy specialty coffee and cappuccino as they study the Bible. The lesson changes each week and is perfect for drop-ins or newcomers. Java for the Soul is offered in the Ministry Center September - May from 10:45 AM - 11:45 AM.

Monday Night Offering

Soul Searchers: This class tackles reality by reading and discussing topics that expand the understanding of God and religion in today's world. Soul Searchers meets in the choir room at 6:30 PM year round.

 

Adult Ministry Wednesday Offerings

Rectors Bible Study: This class will read and discuss the book Making sense of Scripture, by Dr. David Lose which helps the participant openly approach the Bible so that today's real world intersects with the Biblical world allowing the reader to see that God is still very active in daily life. Following this book, the Gospel of Mark will be studied.Led by Fr. Thompson. This class meet from 10:15AM in the Parish Hall.

Wednesday Evening Ministries: The primary purpose of this group is to have some adult fellowship in a casual and relaxed atmosphere and discuss modern and sometimes controversial topics. Each topic runs 3- 4 weeks and is led by various ministry leaders and or outside speakers. This class meets 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM from September until May every year.
